Matt was an awesome DJ. We had a couple potential vendor calls set up, but after talking to Matt we realized we were a good fit and cancelled the others. He got to know our personalities, vision for the day, and was very helpful in knowing songs needed/how the timing of the day itself usually ran/etc. He was open to my 400 questions and song suggestion playlist file I sent – without making me feel crazy for making one! The day went smoothly (at least for the DJ/music part) and the night was incredibly fun. We went to a wedding a few weeks after ours, and the DJ kept unintentionally clearing the floor with poor music choices and not knowing how to read the room- it made us appreciate Matt even more than we already did because we didn’t have a problem with him at all! Definitely recommend.

After interviewing a few DJs, Matt was the clear choice for us. From the beginning he was organized, friendly, affordable, and easy to work with. It was super easy being able to make payments using his online invoice system. Leading up to our wedding, Matt provided prompts on choosing song choices (cake cutting, first dances, entrances, etc). He listened to us when we explained the type of music we wanted to play and what we did NOT want played – which was very important to us. The day of our wedding – wow – Matt truly went above and beyond. He told us day one he was “there for anything”, and he truly meant this. We had some bumps come up the day of our wedding with other things going on and Matt pitched in lending a helping hand to get things done. I am so grateful for this especially! When it came time for music, Matt did not disappoint! He hit all his cues and kept us on track with timing. Our guests raved about his ability to engage the crowd and the music he played. Matt wasn’t just a vendor, he enjoyed what he was doing and brought the energy. We are so happy we chose Matt for our DJ needs and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Chillin McMillin has now served as the DJ for two of our family weddings. As the wife of a retired wedding photographer who has photographed well over 1,000 weddings, I can tell you that both my husband and I are in agreement that Chillin McMillin is the best wedding DJ we have ever witnessed. It has been our experience that most wedding DJ’s are quite often over-bearing, obnoxious and irritating. Matthew McMillin is professional in the extreme. Unlike most wedding DJ’s who play the same tired, repetitious, boring old music stemming from 30, 40 and even 50 years ago, such that not even us old people care to hear it, Chillin McMillin plays a truly good mix of great dance music. At one of our weddings, there was not one request which he refused to play, and he lends a terrific aura to the reception. I cannot recommend him more highly. He will make an huge difference on the most important day of your life.

We could not have picked a better DJ for our wedding. Matt was outstanding. He had more energy than any DJ I’ve seen (and I’ve been to 45 weddings), pre-coordinated everything with us seamlessly and engaged with our guests to customize the evening to perfection. The next day, everyone raved about how he kept the party flowing and got more people on the dance floor than we could have imagined. Matt DJ’d my wedding at The Groton Inn and it was nothing short of PERFECT! He absolutely captured the vibe of my guests and every song was a hit with the crowd. DJ Matt spun tubes at my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. He had a great selection of songs to kick off the mood as we arrived and had food. Then got the dance floor going with some great songs and was super open to requests.

I have been fortunate to tend bar at countless weddings and I have worked with many, many good DJ’s over these years. Some very disappointing DJ’s as well.
Chillin McMillin is in a complete different league than even the good DJ’s. He provides a complete experience from the custom DJ Booth, lighting, sound quality and professionalism. Nothing is missed, he showed up to our event early.
The reason that you need to hire an absolute top notch DJ for your wedding is because you want your wedding to run smooth. If he hasn’t been doing this for many years I would be shocked.
The entire staff at Indian Head Resort really loved the music and energy. Hope I get to work with this DJ again..

We hired Matt for our wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton, MA and he was awesome!! After doing ALOT of research for DJs throughout New England I came across DJ Chillin McMillin. I originally reached out as I was Facebook friends with his wife Jennifer (who is also awesome!) They were super responsive and helpful and jumped on a call with us within the week. From there they explained all of our options, and even gave us a sweet discount! There prices were much more affordable than the other DJs I was referred to and they couldn’t have been better. He provided music suggestions, has fun interactive games, and knows how to gauge a crowd. We cannot recommend this company enough if you are getting married or having an event in New England!!

I have not hired DJ Chillin McMillin personally, however I was at a wedding a couple of years ago that he was the DJ for and I was blown away by how amazing he was. He kept the party going all night and really made the night. Two years later when my best friend got engaged I told her she needed to book Matt (DJ Chillin McMillin) right away! She just got married this past weekend and once again he was incredible. So good in fact that another friend and I payed for him to stay an additional hour. I would recommend him and his company to anyone and everyone!

DJ Jeff was the perfect dj for our wedding. He was so on top of everything. Responded quickly whenever I had a question. Very personable and made our wedding the best experience. Matt was the perfect DJ for our wedding! We had three scheduled phone calls in advance of the wedding so that he could get to know us and what we were looking for. He was very personable and easy to talk to. We worked through the song list and ceremony timeline in advance so that I didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding. He even worked with our guitarist to be sure the sound was perfect for the ceremony. He took some song suggestions from us, but also read the crowd and played music that kept everyone dancing. Our wedding day went so smoothly with Matt as our DJ!

Dave was great in making our covid micro- wedding a special day. He helped us with the planning, was flexible when our venue changed locations due to covid 19, and specially tailored the music for us and our guests. He even played a bonus song at the end which was reverent in how my now husband and I met at a concert. I would highly recommend DJ Dave for your event.

One of the best things about DJ Chillin McMillin is how he kept the crowed engaged. The dancefloor was packed literally ALL NIGHT! He knew what to play and right when to play it and everyone raved about his performance. He truly is the definition of the term “Entertainer” and I wouldn’t pick anyone else for future events. If you are looking for a dj who gets involved and is able to pull people out of their shells to have a great time….you have landed on the right page! Matt was the dj for our Christening/ 6th Birthday party and he was great! The planning meeting was very cool he brought his laptop and did music searches and played samples right there in our livingroom! He was quick at responding to messages and very excited to be involved in our party. At the party he did a great job of incorporating announcements, music, and even threw in a few party games for the kids! Not only did he control the music but he got out from behind the table and played with the kids, danced, and got others involved as well! Everyone had a fabulous time! Matt has also dj’d a 25th anniversary party and jack and jill for us. He can look forward to our business in the future as well!

Matt is a great DJ. My husband and I married in July 2009 and we hired Matt as our DJ. That was one of the best decisions in planning our special day. Matt did a fabulous job in keeping the flow of the night right on key. He played the music for our ceremony and announced us as husband and wife along with the other bridal party member without mispronouncing anyones names. He played appropriate mus……ic while we ate and then the fun began. Matt played music to get people off of their feet. We had so much fun dancing the night away. Matt incorporated every song we wanted to hear into the night along with others we wish we had requested. He really knew the style of music we liked and made great selections throughout the reception. So, if you ever need a DJ for any occassion, especially a wedding, I would recommend Matt in a heart beat!!

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Matt for many years and last October my wife and I hired him to DJ our wedding.
