It’s important to test and update equipment often, and we have recently done just that. We will always have backup equipment on site in the extremely rare case of equipment failure. When you hire DJ Chillin McMillin, you will always be getting new equipment that looks great, and sounds fantastic!
Choose Your Booth:
We won’t need a table for the DJ space as we pride ourselves with our custom hand crafted DJ booth designs that are completely self-contained to give your dance floor a clean original look.
As we rapidly expand, all new booth designs will be named after the Bride who is the first to use it at their wedding, and we have plans to drastically expand our design selection, so keep a look out for more options!
Sound Systems:
Figure A: Alto TX8. Big sound, portable package. Used for ceremonies and cocktail hour.
Figure B: Two Alto TS215 PA speakers. An ideal balance between no-compromise acoustic performances. Used for small and medium venues such as wedding receptions.
Figure C: Alto TS Sub 15. 1200 watts class D power that is paired with the two TS215 PA speakers in Figure B to give your music the low end kick for the full spectrum sound.
Figure D: Two Peavey SP-4X PA Speakers (2018 Edition): 2000 watts each. The enclosure assembled with Aspen hardwood plywood enclosure with a durable Hammertex covering. Used for larger receptions and venues, back up, and for larger events that need an extended system.
Figure E: Two Peavey SP-4X PA Speakers (2007 Edition): 2000 watts each. Although older versions of the 2018 edition in Figure D, this Peavey system had been assembled with a wooden particleboard cabinet that provides superior low end bass that speakers today just can’t touch. Used at client demand, back up, and for larger events that need an extended system when doubling up to widen the range of sound projection.
Dance Lighting:
Basic Dance Lighting: This lighting package is best used for smaller events and venues, or in the case where the venue does not allow much set up or breakdown time. For fast and simple, but effective applications. A small fog machine may be used to bring out the color and light arrays during performance later in the evening.
Advanced Dance Lighting: Full spectrum programmed DMX lighting that is guaranteed to turn heads and invite guests to the dance floor. This lighting package is updated frequently, and you can see the latest in this video. A small fog machine may be used to bring out the color and light arrays during performance later in the evening.
Up lighting:

Projection:
Personalize your special day with a projection onto the ceiling, wall, or our huge 12 foot projection screen! With our high definition projectors, we can play videos with stunning quality. We also offer video and slideshow editing if you need help. Just ask us!
